Reports & Compliance

Barnsbook™ turns your farm data into useful reports — for your own planning, for your accountant, and for regulatory compliance. All report and compliance features are accessible from More > Compliance & Reports and require a Pro or Premium subscription.

Reports Pro

The Reports screen generates summaries across all areas of your farm:

• Herd Summary — total animals by species, sex, and status; additions and removals over a date range
• Health Report — vaccinations given, treatments logged, medications used, and upcoming due dates
• Breeding Report — breeding dates, conception rates, calving summary, and weaning records
• Weight Performance — ADG by animal and group, weight gain trends over time
• Expense Report — expenses by category, vendor, and date range
• Revenue Report — income by source and date range
• Profit & Loss — net farm income over a selected period

USDA Compliance Pro

The USDA Compliance module helps you maintain the records required for federal and state livestock programs. This includes treatment records with withdrawal dates, animal movement records, and identification records required under USDA Animal Disease Traceability rules. Barnsbook formats these records so they're ready when an inspector or program auditor needs them.

Documents

The Documents section (More > Compliance & Reports) is your farm filing cabinet. Store digital copies of:

• Vet certificates and health certificates
• Animal registrations and transfer papers
• Organic or USDA certifications
• Insurance documents
• Lease agreements
• Government program documents

Documents are stored on-device along with all your other Barnsbook data. You can add documents from your photo library or files app. Document storage is available on all plans.

Keep digital copies of all health certificates and inspection records. If an animal must move across state lines, you'll need current health papers — having them in Barnsbook means you always know where they are.

Export Data Pro

With a Pro subscription, you can export your farm records as CSV files that open in Excel, Numbers, or any spreadsheet app. You can export:

• Livestock records
• Health and vaccination records
• Breeding and calving records
• Expense records by date range and category
• Revenue records
• Weight history

CSV exports are useful for sharing with your accountant, veterinarian, or lender. You can also use them to import data into other farm management software.

Fertility Reports Premium

The Fertility Reports (More > Analytics & Forecasts) analyze your breeding records to produce sire performance summaries, pregnancy rates, calving interval analysis, and AI versus natural service comparisons. This report requires a Premium subscription.
